Zowar International Hotel

Only thing going for this place is the location. 10min walking to masjid Nabawi. Absolutely no way this qualifies as a 4 star hotel. Bathroom was disgusting, moldy shower/sinks. Rooms are very small, barely any space to eat if you bring food back. There is not even a chair in the room, just 2 beds. Worst of all, the management disables air conditioning in the middle of a desert. My thermostat is set at 5 degrees Celsius but my room is still hot. Would not recommend at all.

Location is great, breakfast is great. The rooms are small, very old bathroom setups, shower over bath with shower curtains. The staff is not friendly. Front desk reception ladies have attitudes. Cleaning services needs reminders. Towels are old. I stayed in a king deluxe room.

Where can I start, this place is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First got checked into an uncleaned room. Requested to be moved to another, the staff showing us the new room was incredibly rude. Pretty much every room we were shown had a damp smell and was so outdated, broken furniture, dusty Mats and molds everywhere. The toilet full of limescale and water temperature is not consistent. The switch doesn't work and the air con only works when it wants too. The service is atrocious, things that have been promised in the booking aren't available e.g. iron, towels etc. You really have to pester them to get the towels and asking for iron, they will instead try to sell you their laundry service, priced by the kilo. We asked for our room to be cleaned when we went outside, came back 4 hours later The rooms were not touched. All in all please stay away from this place. Don't get tricked by the pictures etc.

Very old property. Needs some renovation especially of bathrooms and corridors. Check in was not a good experience as my booking was not honoured initially and they wanted to give me another room of different combination but on different floors. Relented only when I insisted as I had booked it one month before ! Room service is pathetic. They didn't clean the room even after telling them nor they gave water and other daily essentials on the second day. The staff refused to clean my room. They are not very polite. Postitive points: Far and few....Great location, in house parking for cars, hot water through out the day. The property has a great potential to be one of the best only if they show some interest in improving the amenities and service. In it's present state you can opt it only if you don't have a better option which was the case with me. 23 Dec 2023

Room are The room is comfortable and clean, the hotel is close to the Prophet's Mosque, only 5-10 minutes away... but the service from the staff is not good. We pay for the meal and drink package but we are not allowed to take boiled water. ready to push our bottle when we fill water. for its rude. while I said I took water for my mother who is not feeling well but she still refused. After that, the staff likes to knock on the door of the room repeatedly to promote the laundry
