I stayed for 3 nights from Sunday the 10th of April and checked out on the 13th of April.
Plus points
1) Overall location is amazing. I stayed many times in Oberoi and this is the first time I am at Dar At Taqwa. I must say that the location wise, you beat Oberoi as it's in the middle of 2 entrances of male and female. Alhamdullilah.
2) Buffet food. I am quite happy with the buffet. The quality of food and the taste is compatible with Oberoi. The choices are quite good. The only setbacks you didn't serve coffee. We need coffee to keep ourselves awake for Terawih and Qiyam. So please improve on this. Otherwise Food is 2 thumbs up
Cons,
1) I really dislike the room. Subhanallah. For the price that we pay, I think it's not worth it. Its super small. Mine is facing the city view. To my surprise too many chairs. I think in total 4 chairs which I find useless when the room is too small. I had to push it away to one corner to make space for my luggages. We only had 2 luggages, one I placed it in front of the toilet door and the other I had to push the small round table and the chairs to the corner of the bed. I really hope you can think of doing some renovation and make an ample place for travellers like us who came very far to the holy land
2) The bed is too bouncy. If your partners moves, I could feel the bounce. Pls invest in a good bed as the time of sleep is very less and therefore we would appreciate if you consider changing it to something firm like those 5 stars hotel.
