First I thanks to Ground Makkah or Araek AlGhaza Hotel because we used there service for our Urama first week In Ramadan 2023: In our hotel booking details it say Grand Makkah Hotel and before we left London we looked in google map it was sign Grand Makkah Hotel however when we got outside the Hotel it was "Araek AlGhaza Hotel" and having argument with a taxi driver this not Grand Makkah Hotel then I went to reception and they said Grand Makkah was the old Name now is Araek AlGhaza. When we got to the room it didn't have enough lighting, bathroom sink wasn't draining, no tussle in room, no hand wash in bathroom, no strainer plug in the sink if you drop anything no where to be found, no tea bags / coffee or water in the room, receptionist said they don't provide these in the room, the window was blocked with continer size generator or something, due the sink blocked we were using the shower tap for brushing and ablution, then there was water leaking from ceiling in shower we have reported all above at the receptionist and they said they will send some one to fix it after couple of days my wife asked them to change our room only then they unblock the sink and stop the water leaking from ceiling and for lift often we have to wait ten minutes. Our six days stay at this hotel they never clear the room, change the linen, empty the bins we have to leave bin bags outside the room like others residents and people smoking in the hallways. It very unhygienic all way. I CAN NOT understand How on earth this hotel can claim 5 star.

Extremely bad service, very unclean place, if I could give it less than 1 star I would. Check in is only at 6 PM which is extremely stupid and wasn't told to us beforehand, we were locked outside for about 4 hours. 2 towels in a triple bedroom, service responds to your call but doesn't do anything. it's actually quite far from the Haram, approx 15 min walk just to the boundary. The bed is squeaky and broken!! There's a misunderstanding here on what a 5 star hotel is. this isn't worth a single star. I will never book here again and advise everyone to just pay a little more and go to a more respectable hotel.

Worst experience - I would recommend not to book this hotel ..they take the bookings but never have rooms available when you reach there. I came here at 3pm and they said the rooms will be available by 6. I will echo what other customers mentioned in their review - Worst customer service, clumsy staff and bad experience. When we plan umrah and book hotels .. having a room ready should be our last concern but in this hotels case it is a nightmare.. we had to wait with our luggage for hours to get the room...

Just awfull, rooms are not clean, restorant is not clean (plates), house keeper comes to flush the toilet and thats it! When you ask for toiletpaper you will get just a small one or no one, towels asking the answer is always tomorrow!? Just bad experience with the hole group. Wasted time which we could use for praying. Choose another hotel would be my advise.

Would give it negative stars if I could. Do not stay here, not 5* at all, maybe 1*. No hot water for our full stay. No towels. Didn’t come to clean the room for the full trip. Waiting for lifts for up to 20 mins sometimes. Far from Haram, about 15 mins at fast pace to the haram boundaries. You’re tired by the time you go to pray Salah, and can’t go back and forth from hotel between Salah.
