Description

Golden Dragon is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Riyadh, which was established 35 years ago. The restaurant consists of one floor and has large Chinese floor vases, blossom trees, and traditional Chinese paintings of bamboo and nature. The seats are in red, which symbolizes fortune and happiness, and gold, which is a Royal Colour in Chinese culture.

Their menu has a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes such as fried garlic rice, chicken soup, sizzling shrimps, beef, and chicken noodles. The staff is friendly, and they do a Chinese show for you when they serve you food which is very fun. This hidden gem is located inside Al Mousa Centre on Olaya Street, Riyadh.

It’s glad to be back here. Just a brief background. This authentic Chinese restaurant is operating for more than 30 years now. And since I started dining here 10 years ago, the food never changes at all. I still love the authenticity of the Chinese cuisine. There’s a variety of food that you can order. And if you’re a Chinese food lover, you’ll find them here. Name the dishes — from mixed vegetables, beef, fish, chicken and even soup. And each serving is good for 2-3 persons. Not to mention that the price is affordable compared to other Chinese restaurant. The place is always tidy and pleasant. The servers are so accommodating and friendly. They attend to your needs immediately. Of course, special mention to the Filipino server, Joel who assisted us all the way. I will always love coming back here especially when I’m craving for authentic Chinese food.

Location is a bit hard to find, quiet and secluded. Good for private meetings. Polite staff. Great food and service.

Been there last night. The building where the resto is looks creepy and abandoned inside. It took us several minutes to figure out where it was. But no regrets,the food was fantastic???

Overall 7/10, flooring needs to be upgrade, color combination should be more attractive, we can only see Red n Golden with dim lights. Food quality is good enough, serving also good. There is no any restaurant board as we reached them with the guidance of my friend who visited them earlier.
