Description

Located in Saudia Arabia’s biggest metropolis and capital city Riyadh, the Sky Bridge Kingdom Tower is the sixth tallest skyscraper in Saudi Arabia. Completed in 2002, this 99-storey building rises 302.3 meters in the sky and overtook  Faisaliyah Tower as the tallest tower in Saudi Arabia, however, it has since been surpassed by five other buildings but remains the most iconic building in the Riyadh skyline.

Food and Shopping

There is a basement-level food court where you can find many of local and international food options including KFC, Burger King, Popeyes, Mcdonalds, and Baskin Robbins. Al-Mamlaka shopping mall covers 57,000-square-meters of space and some of the world’s most exclusive shopping brands including Chanel, Gucci, Versace, and Louis Vuitton.

Attractions

The entire tower takes up 100,000–square meters and provides tons of entertainment, food, and shopping options. It also houses the Al-Mamlaka shopping mall and the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.

A high-speed elevator takes you to the top of the building from where the floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the city skyline and make for a particularly enchanting sight during the evening. On its 77th floor is the King Abdullah Mosque, which is famous for being the highest mosque in the entire world.

The top of the tower is an inverted parabolic arch with a 65-meter sky bridge at the top that gives the tower a unique look and makes for an incredible sight. The tower is a popular spot, not only among locals but also tourists that come to Riyadh from all over the world. This makes it incredibly busy on the weekends, which is why a weekday visit is recommended.

My Hotel was 1km from the Tower. When I reached the ticket, there was no line or people. It was empty. I was expecting it to be crowded. It took me only 5 minutes from the ticket counter to the 99th floor. I had to take two lifts, one goes up to the 77th floor, and from there, you take another ride to the top. I got there at 5 pm and stayed till 7 pm for sunset. It was a fantastic view, and at night you see the city's beauty with all the lights. It cost 69 SR; no Camera is allowed there. You can use your mobile phone or get your photos clicked by the cameraman present, thereby paying money.

One of the best shopping malls in Riyadh. Its not that busy since its one of the oldest malls and I like if for its vibe. You can book to walk through the bridge and see the city from above. Pre-booking is preferred during holidays and weekends. I’m afraid of heights but my friends insisted, it wasn’t a bad experience and the restaurant there is so classy and cozy away from the mall noise.

Well, frankly, it is not that mesmerizing to see the view while on top maybe because its night time. I would prefer to check this place again in the afternoon. There are lots of people during holidays.

Awesome place to visit while in Riyadh to get a great view of the whole city. Price was 69 SAR per person and you reach the top quickly in two elevators. Probably better to come for the view at night, although the view during the day is still spectacular when visibility is good.

A wonderful modern architecture. The view from the outside and from the inside is just spectacular. This is one of the must go place for everyone who are visiting to Riyadh. The nearby cafes I believe have the better view. You can actually go to some cafe and enjoy the wonderful architect.
