Millennium Madinah airport Hotel

The worst mattress ever, I couldn't sleep well and end up with back pain. The location is far away from the centre but next to the airport. The staff were nice but couldn't do anything with the mattress, they apologised to me and showed me empathy. But the pain gained from the mattress is nightmare.

I’ve been to motels that way too better than this so called a “hotel” Very unprofessional and uncooperative, make you feel like if you’re staying in for free… Having an issue with the AC unit not cooling and making noise which will be uncomfortable to make you have a pleasant and quiet rest after a long day of travel! Maintenance only came in to turn off and on the unit… what a close up check up!!! Would never suggest it and hopefully I don’t have to end up in here again ^_^ No hard feelings, it’s just an honest review.

This is not a 5 star hotel, the room feels more like a 3 star, which is being generous as the curtains were stained and there was hair near the window. The buffet breakfast for suhoor was also very basic. Halfway through my stay they decided to stop cleaning the room for some reason, and the keycards always stop working.

I booked this hotel for 4 nights stay but I had to leave early so we only spent 3 nights and tbh it didn’t satisfy me since I was expecting it to be a 5 star hotel but they treated us so badly. the most important reason was shuttle service since we also had to go to Haram and it was 30 minutes far. The shuttle only dropped us and didn’t pick us up as they told us. I called the receptionist but they didn’t help me and kept lying. I was with my old mother who was sick and requested the receptionist to do something about it but they refused to help. We paid coming back from the local bus. It was very frustrating. The staff was not cooperative and simply refused to help they didn’t even compensate us for this inconvenience. The next morning I tried to approach the manager at 8 am Saturday to discuss this matter but one guy with glasses at the reception was very rude to me. He even talked me down and I felt like I wasted my money and time. They need to work on their customer service a lot. Also the room when we checked in didn’t have any coffee, tea or sugar sachet. It was missing basic amenities like cups and glasses. The carpet was stained and bath tub was so dirty. I highly doubt this is a 5 star hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone for even a single night as they are charging a lot and it doesn’t worth. Please listen to my review and do not book this hotel.

Besides that it’s located next to airport and therefore a good long drive from city Centre, it’s great. Everything you’d expect from a major chain. Room was a bit on the small side; 2 of us unable to pray side by side. Hotel was clean, comfortable and catered well to our needs.
