Holiday Inn Riyadh Al Qasr

Hotel was under partial restoration. They gave me a room that vibrates with the chiller and is so noisy. I moved to another room on the second floor. In the room the ac was broken, the hair blower works for 30 seconds, the fridge does not work. For breakfast, other holiday inns in riyadh have a takeaway bag to have the option of packing breakfast. This is a standard for all other holiday inn and was still available at the time of this review as i had afriend staying over at a nearby holiday inn. I asked and the staff indicated i needed to pay extra to have the to go option.

The bathroom’s water was very hot and the cold water never worked, and when I called the maintenance and told them about it, they made me wait for 30 minutes (my whole stay is 1 day), and then they said they will solve the issue when I check out, which is very inconvenient. The receptionist made me pay although the check was paid already by my company, I told him, yet he didn’t believe me, and later on I showed him the check, very unprofessional. The food gave me and my team a stomachache and wasn’t even good. Very disappointed, will never visit again.

rooms are great but not wide enough toilet have bad shower curtain water goes all over the floor. the gym was not as my expectation... no elevator going down to gym level the swimming pool it terribly it should not call swimming pool the fountain nosey for no purpose and the shape irregular the most important one is the water very cold... also when I come at 9 pm I found no one and no towels just the small one. also when I went at morning the water was empty the breakfast ok its quite nice ?. small hotel not suitable for family but for sure its good for business

Shocking expensive hotel! 1- To start, we booked a room for 3 adults (meaning we payed the extra bed while booking) however the hotel gave us a room with two single beds and they insisted to charge us an additional small bed after many minutes of argument, their only explanation was “ the system allows you to book one room for 7 persons but you will have 2 single beds!” 2- we have been informed at the reception during the check in that the hotel is doing some big construction works so basically you cannot relax or work day time in the hotel 3- They gave us a smoking room or better to say smoking floor , corridors, etc… without even asking us- really terrible strong smell! 4- Room are too old and badly maintained: huge water leak while you’re showering, water everywhere, dirty curtains, very dirty carpet , you cannot even plug the water boiler in the electrical socket (different type of socket) and they don’t have a connector/converter 5- We asked for a third towel at 8:00pm for the third person (after having payed the additional bed) and the response was “ no towel before until 9:00am the day after , we have to wait for the delivery! “ This is not a joke! 6- Dirty water boiler, you will have a big limestone in your coffee ! So don’t try it ! 7- no cleaning the second day , we had to ask them when we came back at 7:00pm to clean it A last point and there is many other that I didn’t mention, you receive a shoe sponge box in the toilet package written in English “shoe sponge” but if you speak only Arabic, you will read on it in Arabic “body shower sponge” ! Of course I am not excepting any action from the hotel following my review , this review is done only for the customers who wants to visit Riyadh and enjoy the stay in a decent hotel!

I like the hospitality of the bell boy Mr.Saleem who took care of me and my manager during our stay. His humble and ready to help attitude was highly appreciated The men at reception also was good. Other amenities I did not try.
