Description

The Dar Al Madinah museum is located in the Knowledge Economic City. It is a purpose built museum that showcases the history of The Blessed City of Madinah. It has many exhibits that show how the city expanded from the time of our Beloved Prophet Muhammed (Peace and Blessings of God Be Upon Him) to the current time. It also contains rare manuscripts and a variety of model respresentations. It is definetly worth a visit if you are looking to be inspired about the amazing history of the city of Madinah. Tours are avaailable in English, Urdu and Arabic. The entrance fee is 25 SAR.

This 30 min walk in the world of miniatures models would take you to so many events from the life time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) . As well as you would be able to see the amazing expansion of the prophet's mosque. You can have a tour in english urdu and arabic and will learn something new for sure. Tickets can be bought at the entrance (25 SAR for adults and 15 SAR for children) but it's a place to visit and cherish.

Amazing museum. Must visit for everyone in Madinah. They have got excellent models of some ghazwas and masjid e nabwi. Also cool artefacts from the time of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). They also offer guided tours in English, Urdu and Arabic!

Beautiful museum and well organized. We had an english guide who told us about the different models that were shown and the history behind them. Absolutely wonderful experience!

Good place to visit to know more about islam and its culture. Guides available for Arabic, English, and Urudu speaking visitors. Only concern is space constraints , difficult to follow the guide if a group has more than 7 people.
