Abraj Al Bait Towers - The Clock Towers Complex - Makkah

The Abraj Al-Bait, also known as The Clock Towers Complex is a complex of seven skyscraper hotels in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. These towers gain their importance from their unique location as they are located a few meters away from Al Masjid al-Haram and loom over it. It is hard to ignore Abraj Al Bait Towers if you are in the vicinity as they seem to be touching the sky and are visible from afar.

The tallest tower in the complex, Makkah Royal Clock Tower, is the tallest skyscraper in Saudi Arabia and is also the 5th tallest freestanding structure in the world. The Makkah tower also has the world’s largest clock face. Sitting in the Haram, one can always look up and view the clock facing him. Pilgrims can get souvenirs from the gift shops that are located at various points. A private and public viewing deck is also available for visitors to have exclusive views of the holy city.
