Description

A must-see restaurant in Al Hijrah Walk, and even Madina, when it comes to Arabic / Shamy cuisine. Ver Dan Lounge is located on the third floor of a building on Al Abbas Ibn Ubadah Street, in Al Qaswa district, next to Tamimi Markets.

It offers quality Lebanese / Armenian cuisine with a varied choice of dishes, including mezze-type starters such as hummus, mutabbal, or baba ghanouj, salads (tabula, fatoush ...) and of course, for the main dishes, grilled meats, such as shish tawook. The desserts are also amazing as the restaurant offers fruit tarts, cheesecakes, and other Oum Ali on its menu.

To access the restaurant, it is necessary to take an elevator to the top floor. The restaurant consists of a large interior space with several rooms, one of which has a beautiful view of the Al Hijrah Walk. The decoration, with a predominance of wooden elements, is just magnificent. The only downside is the music, which is quite loud and taints the tranquility of the meal.

Came to try the Lebaneese food in Medina, food was missing the Lebaneese flavor, food came out very fast, service was great. Food is overpriced compared to other Lebaneese restaurants.average of $40 per person.

A good lounge in madina, the outdoor sitting area area is large but the seats are very close so you cannot chat privately. The food is good but not as expected, its like Lebanese prepared on Yemeni way. Service is good and fast and the cutlery is of good quality although i didn't like the handle shape. Music is very loud when having a private table celebration so all chat must stop until they finish. The decoration is very nice and i think the indoor seating is better.

So, I had this place on my list of places to go in Madinah. The place is clean. The decor is nice. The service is good. The staff is pleasant. The food was good but not exceptional. We ordered, Pineapple tabuli salad, which was just some chuncks of canned pineapple slices diced in the tabuli. I wasn't impressed with that idea after it brought to the table. Manaakhish Muhamarah, looked/taste like a pizza. It was tasty, but nothing to write home about. Shrimp pizza, was a plain rectangular pizza with a few frozen shrimp on it. Again, nothing spectacular. Grilled chicken kebab, was good/ well seasoned. The garlic sauce that accompanied it wasn't the Labanese that I'm use to. It sat on a pita bread along with some chopped up cilantro, sliced onions and a half grilled tomato. Spicy potatoes were delicious ? We also received delicious warm fresh baked hoisw breàd. Mint lemonade was too tart Pomegranate juice

Went to the family section Which was a fair climb upstairs so if you are with kids and stroller be ready for the climb The shawerma plates were good and fresh with good sized portions. The shawerma in shami bread was so so. Had a very cozy family section with all tables having the privacy doors. Arabic mezze platter came with fresh warm bread. Waiting time was quite a bit. We waited around 20 minutes even to get our mezze plate. Quite a large selection of menu items but we only tried the the shawermas and shawerma plates.
