Description

If you find yourself in Madina and in the middle of the night you feel a little hungry, the Al Ansar restaurant may be a good option for you. Indeed, this restaurant will serve you your meal at any time of night since it offers 24-hour service. It offers lavish hot and cold buffets of Arabic, Western, and Indian cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The international cuisine offered here will satisfy all tastes. 

You can start your meal with a Cobb salad, continue with an Indonesian Nasi Goreng, and finally end with an Apple Strudel, a delicious Austrian dessert. Its room with modern decor, decorated with Arabic designs, is rather large and offers a multitude of tables for four people. The restaurant also has semi-private seating for up to forty people. The Al Ansar restaurant is on the first floor of the Oberoi hotel, very close to the Prophet Mosque.

Maybe I chose their bad day - ( Wednesday, May 17th) but I only got an array of insipid, dry, tasteless, cold and ridiculous mix of cuisine and dishes (Daal? Chawal?, Paella (with over cooked seafood) Pizza and some weird selection of food. For the price it was utterly disappointing. Even their bread (khoobz)was stale! 2 stars is for their attentive staff, but insisted on profiling me :), and interestingly brought me the bill before I finished my dinner, either thinking I can’t pay or wanted to cut me off :), wide selection of their salads and desserts, and decent presentation. Save your money - do not recommend it!

It was a very nice place friendly staff and very polite Food was very nice not for everyone's taste but really nice 👌 😋 Also nit for everyone's budget
