Description

The first Gontran bakery opened in 2010, and after seeing a lot of success in France, the brand expanded to other countries around the world, including Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Singapore.

Today the city of Riyadh finds itself with its very own franchise of the fine bakery, located at the center of The Zone on Takhassusi Street. The bakery, although small, offers its guests a beautiful interior setting with large floor-to-ceiling windows; this brings out maximum natural light whilst also giving a view of the charming outdoor terrace.

The menu takes inspiration from its sister bakery in France - its country of origin. The menu offers a simple yet delectable selection of pastries, coffees, cold beverages, and more.

If you find yourself taking a tour around the Zone, be sure to stop by Gontran Cherrier for an exotic taste of French heritage.

Good place to hang out, delicious food. Service takes a little bit of time. You can also order breakfast menu for dinner, but need to check first whether the menu is still available. They have indoor and outdoor area (for smoking). A bit pricey, most foods are above IDR 100,000, but the price is still reasonable (at least for the food that I ate). Parking is quite limited.

Very nice place to meet up friends or business colleagues. They also have large meeting rooms that can accommodate 50-80 people. Rooms are nicely decorated and are colourful. But parking is a bit limited though they also offer neighbouring parking areas.

It's a cafe from France where you can enjoy good croissant and relaxing atmosphere. There are plenty of seats and it's good for remote working. Due to the very hot weather, the air-con might not working well. It's very convenient with a walking distance from MRT Kamphaeng Phet station.

Fantastic almond and plain croissants- perfect balance of taste and texture. Coffee is not bad either. Good place to relax and read as music is not too loud and unobtrusive unlike most cafes. Bonus is plenty of natural light huge wall of glass floor to ceiling on one side of place.

We went here twice and were consistently pleased with the food. Their chocolate croissants were the best I’ve had outside of Europe, and their signature iced coffee was creamy and refreshing. I tried a Kouign Amann for the first time and it was phenomenal. My sister had whipped ricotta toast with raspberry compote and a croissant with smoked salmon; both of which were delicious and on par with what you would find in a French patisserie. The service was slow but very responsive when you got their attention. There was a very wide variety of choices. Overall, we had a very positive experience!
