Description

Founded in 1947 and named after the founder’s daughter, La Romana started out as a small town center shop in the historical city of Rimini in Italy. Today the Gelato parlor has spread its name to many different parts of the world, including Riyadh.

La Romana serves ice cream and desserts with the finest quality ingredients; the parlor has maintained the same authentic style of preparation and taste. At first glance, the interior matches perfectly with the mind’s idea of the ideal color theme for a parlor - soft grey walls accompanied by beige counters and furnishing. Although the glass display has the ice cream hidden beneath lids, each flavor can still be viewed and sampled upon request. 

The triple scoop is a favorite at Romana, but the ice cream shop also sells cakes, crepes, and coffees. If you want a taste of Italian Gelato at its finest, you can find La Romana dal 1947 within The Zone on Takhassussi Street.

La Romana is located inside the Zone The best Gelato in town by far The staff was so friendly , we tasted a lot of flavours. All gelatos are so creamy & delicious and you can taste every single ingredient in it Place is cozy with a seating area outdoors, Comes in different sizes from small to large We go the medium cup includes 3 flavors pice was 26 SR.

Pisss hey guys, yea this is the best gelato you will ever try by far in Riyadh. Im amazed how creamy, soft and delicious their gelato is. I ordered pistachio, mango, berry something, and two chocolate flavors. All of which I enjoyed. The mango flavor is a bit too sweet but tastes so fresh and tangy. Overall, the experience is worth the visit.
