The inception of KAFD Riyadh took place in 2006 and the aim behind this project was to create a sustainable and modern financial center that would cater to the expanding requirements of Riyadh, while significantly boosting its economy.
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) acquired the project in 2018 and continues to play a pivotal role in Vision 2030. The master plan of KAFD was envisioned by the renowned Danish architect firm, Henning Larsen architects.
