Description

Altopiano is a fine-dining restaurant that specialises in serving Italian cuisine fused with Saudi ingredients wherever possible, yet preserving the authentic Italian taste. The restaurant is located in the Bujairi Terrace in historical Diriyah which makes it the perfect place to reflect this infusion between the two cultures. It has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with rustic interior design, dim lights, patio heaters which create a warm and cosy ambience. Altopiano has a degustation menu that focuses on the senses and the Italian culinary art, and they take their guests’ feedback into consideration in creating their menu. 


They welcome you with the well-known Italian Bellini cocktail drink which is a symbol of pride in Italy. For starters, you can enjoy the delicate taste of Carpaccio, Burrata, Arancini, and the Insalata Altopiano salad with dates. For the main course, they offer delicious Risotto Bosco, Branzino sea bass, and Bistecca steak. As for desserts, you can enjoy the cloudy dreamy taste of their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. They are renewing their menu every time so don’t be surprised if you find new items. 


The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the general manager himself, Mr. Stefano, is known to greet guests personally to explain the concept of their menu and the story behind this lovely restaurant. Altopiano is one of The best Italian restaurants in Riyadh. It’s a great place to have an unforgettable Italian dining experience with your family.

This my first time visiting. I not so sure about to buy ticket for entrance? That day I no pay. So the place tourist attraction. For me WOW this is Saudi Arabia. I highly recommend you must visiting. I definitely will back again, many area to explore and experience ????

Sense and feel Saudi hospitality at its place of birth. It is beyond words to describe. Each single person represented the real Saudi culture to the entire world. Welcoming, respect, customer service, enrichment, helpfulness, and SMILES. The venue represented Saudi heritage at its core combined with advanced technology. What a wonderful place to be. From High-end dinning, coffee to go, Saudi delicious, and tremendous perseverance of Saudi history. DIRIYAH THE JEWEL OF THE KINGDOM. Can’t put a price tag on.

Absolutely beautiful ? We came just before sunset and the lighting was perfect. Also after dark, how the entire place is carefully illuminated with warm light makes it look like a dream. Definitely visit if you have the time!

I fell in love with this place, a peaceful, wonderful experience. Lots of restaurants..to be honest they are classy restaurants.. This month of August they are free??? But please double check first before you go
