Description

OKKU is a fine dining Japanese restaurant that provides a luxurious atmosphere. Upon entering the restaurant, there is an amazing display of Samurai statues. The ambiance invites you to feel as though you are stepping into a museum fitted with Japanese artwork and artifacts. You will feel the luxurious atmosphere of this restaurant in the dining area with its comfortable and relaxing seating.

The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese dishes with amazing authentic Asian flavors, from their delicious Robata sesame ribeye steak to the flavorful Hushishu salad. The detailed and innovative matter in which the items are prepared is not only delicious but provides a feeling of being in the heart of a fine-dining Japanese restaurant. The menu also includes maki sushi, nigiri, sashimi, crispy crab gyoza, ebi tempura, miso salmon teriyaki, spicy prawn salad, and chili miso chicken yakiniku. Their drink menu is also impressive, with visually stunning cocktails and authentic Asian teas.

The restaurant is located in one of the more popular districts in Riyadh -Al- Olaya on a street that is bustling with exciting culinary experiences known as Tahlia.

The restaurant is quite spacious quite a spectacle in terms of its interior design, lighting is too dark in my opinion. I enjoy the balcony during fall and winter. The food is very good and well presented. The staff are friendly from reception to waiters and all. The music is too loud. All in all I enjoy the experience every time but its not my Japanese go-to restaurant.
