Description

Lotus Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Makkah and is inside the Millennium Makkah Al Naseem Hotel, which is a 5-star hotel in Makkah. The High-rise building is 11 km from the grand Masjid al-Haram mosque.

It is an international buffet restaurant with live cooking stations that also offer an A La Carte menu. For breakfast, they have salads, fruits, coffee, juices, tea, sausages, bread, cakes, eggs, and many items to eat. The decoration is wonderful. Lotus restaurant is located on the ground floor of Millennium Hotel, on Ibrahim Al Khalil St, Makkah.

Restaurant was really good, the manager there was exceptional, accommodating and reasonable. Cleaning was alright but not the best. The room service was slow. Reception was OK but they won't do you any favours when they make mistakes. The restaurant manager had to apologise to me about the bad service I received from the reception and house keeping and he allowed me to bring extra guests for free because of the problems I had, eventhough it wasn't his department. Overall a bareable stay. It would of been excellent if only the reception was more hospitable and recompense for the mistakes They made instead of the restaurant manager.

As the present reviews dont do justice to the hotel , i decided to write about it. Just got back from a wonderful trip to Makkah and stay with M Milennium hotel. To begin with the reservation team (Mr Abdul kareem) was great help and he supported for a smooth reservation and explained me about the hotel very well. Upon arrival i met the front desk (Mr Sultan) who tried his best to accomodate our special requests. Considering that we were a family of 7, understanding that our requests were not easy to handle but still the staff did utmost to support. They have a shuttle service which runs hourly (some times 2 hourly)- this could be further improved to add more flexibility but still no complaints. The breakfast buffet was nominal but was enough to satisfy our buffet cravings. The rooms are spacious, view is great.. and the hotel is massive. The only cons would be- there are not much nearby restaurants, so if you are staying here you would need to plan meals properly. As the buses move on fixed time, you need to plan your trip to haram and back ahead of time. Overall a great experience and very budget friendly. Would definitely recommend. My shoutout and special thanks to all the staff of M hotel. Keep up the good work and will see you again !

Lot of issues to start with is the shuttle service, we had to wait until 2.50 am for tge shuttle scheduled at 2 and lastly i had to take my own transportation...rooms are not clean and lots of flies going around, very badly maintained, lot of people were complaining at the reception for washroom and room lock issues. One of tge worst front desk Only good thing was the food we ordered was prepared and presented well

NOT RECOMMENDED, you would get much better options with less price. Huge hotel, looks luxurious from outside but the management is very bad, not welcoming at all, as if you are entering to a govermental deoartment. Check-in process is quite painfull and may take up to one hour, transport to Haram is available but very crowded, rooms are not up to the level of other lower rate hotels, we received ours a bit dirty. The breakfast is very good.

They say the shuttle bus is supposed to come every 30 minutes. We waited about 45 minutes at the Haram just for the bus to come. Then we waited about 20 minutes for the bus to leave. Then another 7/8 minutes for the bus to get to the hotel. All together, give-or-take, it took us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get from the Haram to the hotel. The distance between the Haram and the hotel is less than 10 minutes. With this hotel, you’ll waste too much money. People are complaining at the reception. Worse, the hotel doesn’t answer direct phone calls or calls from the rooms.
