Description

Founded in 1947 and named after the founder’s daughter, La Romana started out as a small town center shop in the historical city of Rimini in Italy. Today the Gelato parlor has spread its name to many different parts of the world, including Riyadh.

La Romana serves ice cream and desserts with the finest quality ingredients; the parlor has maintained the same authentic style of preparation and taste. At first glance, the interior matches perfectly with the mind’s idea of the ideal color theme for a parlor - soft grey walls accompanied by beige counters and furnishing. Although the glass display has the ice cream hidden beneath lids, each flavor can still be viewed and sampled upon request. 

The triple scoop is a favorite at Romana, but the ice cream shop also sells cakes, crepes, and coffees. If you want a taste of Italian Gelato at its finest, you can find La Romana dal 1947 within The Zone on Takhassussi Street.

I visited today at 3pm and I am blown away by the level of customer service. The guys that work there are great. I had an ice cream and its the best ice cream ive had in Riyadh. I especially love the tiny cones that are actually complementary to taste the ice cream, however i would love to see them on the menu as they are great for children. Thank you to the staff for always welcoming me into the cafe.

One of the best ice cream parlors I have ever been to. They have the laboratory within the establishment. It is integrated in the center the zone, with a pleasant atmosphere, and easy parking area. the place in La Romana has a terrace and the attention of the staff is very good. I recommend the Sacher cake ice cream, for me it is special, it is not a normal ice cream, it seems that they have taken a piece of Sacher cake from Vienna itself, and then freeze it and fry it in a tub. the prices are affordable for the quality of the product. the attention of the staff is unbeatable. recommended 100%
