Description

The first Gontran bakery opened in 2010, and after seeing a lot of success in France, the brand expanded to other countries around the world, including Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and Singapore. 

Today the city of Riyadh finds itself with its very own franchise of the fine bakery, located at the center of The Zone on Takhassusi Street. The bakery, although small, offers its guests a beautiful interior setting with large floor-to-ceiling windows; this brings out maximum natural light whilst also giving a view of the charming outdoor terrace.

The menu takes inspiration from its sister bakery in France - its country of origin. The menu offers a simple yet delectable selection of pastries, coffees, cold beverages, and more.

Went for the iga bakar, after terawih..very clean, spacious and quiet...food is average, but is so close to AW, very convenient...

Based on what we had this evening, the food is very basic. Their Mushroom soup could have been tastier, while their omelette could have been fluffier. Their carrot and orang juice is nice & refreshing, but the other juice (kiwi) was not as good. Not sure whether I would come back and try the pastry.

Order via Grab! Ordered at 650am and delivered a little after 730am. Very decent. Seemed super fast! The poached egg on the avocado toast was cold, but my wife don’t eat that, so I ate it with my chicken and spinach croissant. So good! Mushroom square bread dish was ok, but wish I tried the other croissants as the chicken one was so so good! The iced cold coffee in the bottle, if you like strong was good.

Franchise pastry from France and popular for croissants. Plenty of seats in a cafe style. We came on the weekend and had enjoyed brunch and other pastry. Pasta and salad are also available.
