The reception experience was excellent, especially due to the courtesy of Miss Mahmoud. The hotel is beautifully constructed. As for the location, it's not ideal for those with children or elderly due to the distance and the steep incline of Jabal Omar, which can be challenging to walk. The mattress is uncomfortable and too soft, feeling like sinking down. The bed size is also small. Regarding breakfast, I would rate it 2 out of 5. It's average compared to other DoubleTree hotels, often crowded and with many items unavailable.

I have been to Double tree twice and on both occasions, I have had a lovely experience. The staff were lovely, the rooms were comfortable. Location is not bad, they have provided a golf cart which transports guests close to the haram. I will definitely recommend

Stayed here for 3 nights for my umrah and what can I say it is a luxurious hotel to stay in! It is near the al haram about 10 mins walk, but its uphill so it's difficult for elders. They have golf carts going up and down carrying people but only 6-8 people at a time (usually during prayers time) Lovely big rooms and large bathroom, the beds were bit too soft for my likings but they were comfy! The hotel staff were excellent and the breakfast manager exceeded expectations! Can you tell me what you used in the hotel because it smelt sooo nice!! Only downside was the WiFi it kept on disconnecting on my phone alot of times. But overall lovely stay, would definitely stay here again inshaAllah!

This hotel staff is not nice. They pretend to talk on the phone with the manager when you need something done from them. We stayed for a few days there and had three people each in both rooms we booked. They gave us a king bed and expected us to fit three people in it. For one of the rooms they gave us a rollaway bed which was expensive and because of how expensive it was, for the second room one of us slept on the hard floor. They said we should have told them earlier because they charged us due to the “inconvenience” to their housekeeping to bring the rollaway bed the room. It’s a hotel and a hospitality business. They should be accommodating yet they are not. It’s so sad that’s how they want to make money. Will never stay here nor do I recommend this hotel. Also, location is far from the Haram. The walk is pretty rough. Even though there is shuttle service, the ladies fight to get on it.
