I loved this hotel, from the experience to the customer service, friendly and professional! The breakfast buffet was also really good a variety of different foods from hot and cold to fruits, salads and pastries. The free shuttle bus to the Haram and back to the hotel, staff were really friendly, definitely recommend this hotel if anyone is thinking of booking this!

Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel offers a pleasant and comfortable stay, with its welcoming staff and excellent amenities. However, there is a minor issue that requires attention: the lack of visible signage at the parking entrance. Upon arrival, locating the parking entrance proved challenging due to the absence of clear signage. In order to enhance the overall guest experience, I kindly suggest that the hotel management consider placing a prominent and easily visible signage at the parking entrance. This simple improvement would greatly assist guests in identifying the correct entrance and ensure a smoother arrival process. Furthermore, I would like to extend a special thanks to the receptionist, Mariam. Her warm and helpful nature made our stay even more enjoyable. She was attentive to our needs and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist were truly appreciated.

Lovely hotel. Can be a bit of a walk to Al haram, usually on the way back when you’re feet may already be hurting. Shuttle service isn’t the best; whilst running very regularly, it doesn’t avoid the narrow pathway on the busy hill walkway. Most staff are very lovely and polite. We thought it may be a difficult stay after a mishap at check in which resulted in over a 12 hour wait for a room to free up. Once this was rectified it however, it was a lovely stay. The buffet food wasn’t the best but was good enough.

I wasnt expecting much, since I heard from some of my friends that the hotels in mecca were terrible. But i think when I got into Marriott, it still has that 5 star ambience. The smell of the lobby was wonderful. I love it so much. The cleanliness is great. The room is also equipped with hair dryer and you can also ironing your kaftan in the room. The staff was friendly. Yes you might need to ask for more water, for them to get your towel, but they come pretty fast to fulfill your need. My only disappointment was the restaurant. I spent 3 nights here and the menus is repeated in sequence so we got bored eating the same food. When it’s lunch / dinner after duhur / isya prayer, the restaurant was very crowded. And the spoon is always hard to find 😭. Sometimes I eat with my hands - good thing, it’s sunnah. And they rarely put vegetables on the menus. And i wish at least they have bananas in the fruit station. It’s quite exhausting if you want to walk from hotel to masjidil haram. But they provide shuttle service that come once every 10-15mins.

We stayed mid December. Room was huge and had plenty of storage space, which made my life easier as I like to empty out my suitcases☺️. The bathroom had a smell but it was never resolved despite asking numerous times. Fridge didn't work but was changed when we asked. Most of the sockets near our beds didn't work. Room cleaning wasn't done even once during our 5 nights, despite asking many times a day. However location was good. Shuttle was really helpful as it's a steep climb back up. Breakfast was ok, not 5 star but decent enough. The size of the rooms & comfort of the beds was a big plus but wouldn't say 5* hotel, maybe 4*. All in all did the job for our short stay.
