The Butcher Shop & Grill serves aged meat sourced from the best farms in the world, including superb beef, lamb, Kobe- style wagyu, Dutch veal, and many more. Their regular meat is hung in carcass for up to three days; thereafter, it is "wet-aged" in vacuum bags for another 21 days bringing out the utmost juicy flavor to the meat.

In this legendary South African steakhouse, you'll always find juicy, succulent steaks served with sides of laughter-filled conversations and unforgettable moments. You'll also find the most discerning connoisseurs browsing through as they advise you on picking the finest cuts of meat at their specialty butchery and deli. I’m not a meat expert but I’ve been recommended to try out the tenderloin medium cooked and as a first experience it was out of this world. Sides are fulfilling with multiple choices included. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for good meat and a happy stomach this is the place for you. Prices are suitable compared to other steak joints.

So my friend and I came here for the first time. We were greeted really well and we were attended to nice and frequently. We order the Cesar Salad starter and then 2 steaks and the food did not disappoint. Steaks were juicy and delicious! The sides were nice and flavoursome, savoury, just how I liked it. Overall service was great and didn’t even need to look at the bill, we just happily paid. This is how good restaurants should be! One down side was that they brought extra food which was free like soup, bread and some drinks, which was nice but we ended up wasting some of it as we knew we would get full if we ate that and we don’t like wasting food.

Excellent food, drinks and service. The taste seems to keep getting better every visit. Mr Ronald and Julius were amazing. Attention to detail was on spot. Had to wait for the restaurant to open but the wait was well worth it. I would post pictures of the food, but there were so good that they were gone in the blink of an eye. 10/10 will come again.
