First opened in 1999 and now operating in over 22 cities in Riyadh, Shawarmer can safely call itself one of the more popular shawarma (shwarma) brand names out there.

The fast-food joint offers the same menu across all its branches, with some bonuses added here and there for each individual restaurant. Customers can choose from shawarma sandwiches with a side of fries, shawarmas served in small slices for sharing, or even small sectioned boxes with everything included within shawarma but separated - the meat in one section of the box and sauces and fries in the other.
