The restaurants is split over two floor with exceptional interior design and upper floor has a balcony which offers great views over the Riyadh skyline.

Robata offers a fine dining experience that specialises in serving Japanese cuisine and it’s located in The Canopy in Hittin. The restaurant has elegant interior design with two-floor venue and terrace seating which has its own drink bar and is fully air conditioned to suit Riyadh’s weather. There is also an open kitchen where you can see the chefs prepare your meals and drink bar table where the bartenders prepare your drinks.

Robata has a sharing concept where dishes are designed to be shared and are placed in the middle of the table to be enjoyed family-style. Their menu offers a wide range of delicious Japanese dishes and grills such as Pop Corn Chicken, Edamame, Maki Rolls, Sushi, Sashimi, Grilled Skewers, Wagyu beef and much more. They also serve an amazing selection of refreshing mocktails, coffees, authentic matcha tea and desserts. This upscale restaurant is located in the newly opened shopping centre, The Canopy in Hittin, Riyadh.

To be fully honest, one of the best restaurant i ever been in Riyadh. The food was just amazing, very tasty. But the service was the best, i was literally impressed! Thank you Robata! Popcorn chicken 10/10 Calamri katsu 10/10 Grilled pepper chicken 10/10 Grilled baby corn 10/10 White chocolate hazelnut egg 9/10

Highly recommended! The food was great, and the service was excellent. The outdoor seating was especially enjoyable during winter, with ample heaters provided for every table, making it very comfortable. I found navigating the menu via the QR code to be effortless and intuitive. Looking forward to another visit soon!

A great japanese restaurant! Awesome food offers! Great beverages mocktails. The service is TOP, very attentive! The outside terrace on top is a beautiful place for dining. The atmosphere is great! The wagyu beef is amazing! Highly recommended this place! Easy parking underground!

Exemplary dining encounter. Friendly employees, cozy seating, opulent decor, and top-notch gourmet cuisine. The Grilled Edamame as an appetizer introduced a novel flavor profile to my palate, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Miso Braised Lamb stole the spotlight during the evening, offering a taste unlike anything I've ever experienced before. The combination of tender meat and delectable sauce was a work of culinary art that left me craving for more. Additionally, the Chicken Katsu was excellent. To conclude, we indulged in the visually appealing and artistic "Grilled Banana Cake" dessert. Please note that the portion sizes of the dishes are small and not ideal for sharing.

Business lunch Popped in for lunch and we were recommended the business lunch - the price was explained 250sar Per person with a selection of dishes. We had some spiced edamame to snack which was just okay (Not included). Starters were good. Although the potato salad was deep fried and extra crunchy. The salmon was delicious esp the sauce. The tuna crispy rice - the tuna was delicious but the crispy rice base was rock solid. The prawn gyoza was very tasty. Mains pepper chicken and black cod which were both delicious but to my surprise they came alone with no sides. So just the actual protein itself which I found very disappointing. I assumed it came with sides and it wasn't explained to us it would come alone. Hence the drop in star rating. The apple pie was delicious! unfortunately cold. The sauce with it was lovely and so was the ice cream. Overall the tasting menu was good. Service was excellent and so was the initially welcoming when we arrived.
