Description

If you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience in Riyadh, Oya Japanese Restaurant is the perfect place for you! Located in the heart of the city, Oya Japanese Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese experience. Of course, the food is the main attraction at Oya Japanese Restaurant. The chefs here use only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients to create dishes that are bursting with flavor. Whether you're a sushi lover or prefer traditional Japanese entrees, there's something on the menu to suit every taste.

Walk into this simple yet modern establishment, where you will find a charming, sophisticated lower-floor dining area with a small view of the activity inside the kitchen on the other side. Climb up the stairs to the upper floor where the real wonders reside - a naturally illuminated veranda-a setting with large triangular glass panes on the walls and ceiling - a truly relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy a memorable meal.

Oya understands quality like no other; although their menu consists of your typical modern Japanese food items (Sushi, Soba, Wagyu, Unagi ), Oya still brings out a twist of expression in flavor and taste with every portion served.

The Japanese restaurant, located on the second floor of the An Nakheel Reef Center on the Northern Ring Road, offers you a three-course meal should you desire it. Appetizers will be served in small quantities, enough to savor each item and to allow for maximum enjoyment of the following course. The main course section has a wide variety of items, some for sharing and some for single plates. The restaurant takes into account all allergies, including allergies to specific types of seafood and other dietary restrictions. It also offers an exotic beverage section suited for different occasions and a handful of well-prepared, beautifully designed desserts.

Oya offers all the class and charm you would expect from a top-rated restaurant in Riyadh and delivers an experience worth paying for. If you find yourself craving sushi, clear your schedule and head over to Oya.

We came for dinner, we ordered 2 types of sushi roll, salad and drinks and they all were less than average! Also the service was just ok but the sitting and view was nice.

Place is perfect for date night , place is quite dark. The food is excellent especially the crispy kani salad. Their mix platter of sushi rolls were superb too.

Very cozy Japanese restaurant. I love all the foods that I ordered especially the Wagyu Beef Tenderloin (who wouldn’t like a Wagyu anyway?). The Crispy Crab Salad is my favorite too. It’s that kind of dish I would want to eat over and over again. Among the makis, my favorite is the Maguro Dragon Ball.

Great atmosphere, the service as well is exceptional. However the sushi is mediocre. I’d recommend the shrimp tacos (though it’s overpriced for the small portion), beef noodles and mostly the banana crumble for dessert.

Overall it has a limited menu, which would be good if everything on the menu was amazing. Sushi was good but nothing exceptional, the black cod was alright (and I think the chef burnt it a bit from one edge), the baby chicken was nice, the mushroom rice was probably the better dish. Personally, wouldn't revisit the place, there are better options available.
