Description

Mado Restaurant is famous for Turkish food and desserts. The restaurant is well-known, its location in Souk Al Khalil in Jabal Omar adjacent to Hyatt Regency. The food is authentic and delicious. They serve (cold appetizers, sandwiches and toast, salads, Turkish breakfast, burgers, pizza)etc. They have desserts like milky dessert, kunafa, mixed dessert platter, ice creams and many desserts to eat. The method of presentation is very distinctive.  The decor is beautiful and elegant. The atmosphere is cosy and calm. The sitting area is comfortable and nice. 

Mado is located close to Al Masjid Al Haram in Jabal Omar in the same complex as Hyatt Regency and Hilton Suites on the ground floor.

Really quick service even with a packed restaurant. Food came out tasty, fresh and within 10 min or less. It's a bit pricey, but most everything we ordered was a winner. It's worth trying out especially if you just want to have a comfortable sit down place with wonderful customer service.

I had to wait for a short time. The service was unique and exceptional especially the waiter named Hfaq Ahmed. He was super professional and went above and beyond what a regular waiter would do. Service was fast. Food tasted great.

Ordered pizza, very nice but has a different taste for crust, it taste as bread. The dessert was delicious. Planning to taste their konafa and baklava. I also tried their restraunt, i ordered chicken with borghol, they said that borghol was not available and added rice instead. The portion was good, suffiecient if you coming from omra, however did not find it that tasty.

They have decent variety and some tasty dishes. However there are a few factors that make up ones dining experience. The pita bread given was cold and the staff courtesy was horrible. There was also a bit of a discriminatory behaviour from staff as they gave us platic cutlery and plastic glasses when everyone else dining had normal glasses. Overall it was a mediocre experience and main bad points were due to staff behaviour and servicing.
