Description

Long Chim Thai restaurant is located in the new Bujairi Terrace overlooking the historic At Turaif district. It is inspired by Thailand’s markets and street food. The critically acclaimed retaurant, Long Chim brings the flavours of modern Bangkok to Riyadh’s historic Diriyah districtm the birthplace of the Saudi state. 

Long Chim means "Come and Try" and the menu proposes just that with dishes such as chicken satay, the classic stir fired beef with eggs and mango sticy rice. The menu has been carefully crafted by the celebrity Australian chef and author, David Thompson. Nice facilities and ambience, but if you sit near the kitchen you may not be able to have a conversation. The food is average and portions are really small yet, pricey. As far as service, they tried, but I literally had to wave (exaggeratedly) to the waiter. Despite having ordered together, I had to wait over 15 mins extra for the food to arrive. It was Valentine’s Day!

An Authentic native Thai dishes you’d ever try who got a Michelin Star. They’re Very delightful, the staff are full of hospitality. My favourite order is the “ Papaya Salad “

This restaurant has the best Thai food I’ve ever tried in my life. The fish soup is just exceptional! Tastes very authentic, fresh, and delicious! Their mango sticky rice another story! It just tastes so good!! The service was great. Special thanks to chef Andrea and Isaac! I highly recommend it.

Service is flawless with nice atmosphere but the food and menu needs work. There are pictures of a big menu on this google page which is quite misleading as there are only c. 6 dishes on the menu. We booked for 7:30 on a Friday and they had already ran out of fish for the main dish on the menu. Strange. Food itself was good but it was just a bit bland. Look forward to visiting again and hopefully updating this review soon.

“THE Thai Resturant at Bujairi Terrace” Of all the reasons Bujairi Terrace will buzz you, Long Chim will be one of them. A Thai Resturant, all the way from Sydney, and that too from a star celebrity Chef David Thomson. Recently opened, they have a very short menu. But my God, it tastes so good!! Tom Yum soup, Chicken Sate, fried beef, fried fish, fried rice. That’s all they serve at the moment, that’s all you need!! If you go to Bujairi Terrace, than go for an adventure. Dine at Long Chim. You won’t be disappointed!!
