Description

Long Chim Thai restaurant is located in the new Bujairi Terrace overlooking the historic At Turaif district. It is inspired by Thailand’s markets and street food. The critically acclaimed retaurant, Long Chim brings the flavours of modern Bangkok to Riyadh’s historic Diriyah districtm the birthplace of the Saudi state. 

Long Chim means "Come and Try" and the menu proposes just that with dishes such as chicken satay, the classic stir fired beef with eggs and mango sticy rice. The menu has been carefully crafted by the celebrity Australian chef and author, David Thompson. The most authentic Thai food you will find in Riyadh. Though the recipe may not be the usual Thai food you used to tasted but very satisfiable. Mocktail are nice and very refreshing. Hefty price tag and small portion is a drawback.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Long Chim, a delightful Thai restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The service was excellent - our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. The Prawns Fried Rice stands out. I highly recommend this cozy spot for delicious Thai cuisine.

I had great time eating delicious food & my preferred taste. I love the steaky rice w/ mango too. Every food & drinks tasted great! The atmosphere was awesome. Most importantly, the staffs & manager nico were committed to great service & were very friendly. "Sawadika" to the Thailand staff I forgot to ask her name her smile is so contagious & very respectful. Kanpunka! All of the staff w/ different nationalities all of them with a good heart ❤️.

Nice facilities and ambience, but if you sit near the kitchen you may not be able to have a conversation. The food is average and portions are really small yet, pricey. As far as service, they tried, but I literally had to wave (exaggeratedly) to the waiter. Despite having ordered together, I had to wait over 15 mins extra for the food to arrive. It was Valentine’s Day!

An Authentic native Thai dishes you’d ever try who got a Michelin Star. They’re Very delightful, the staff are full of hospitality. My favourite order is the “ Papaya Salad “
