Description

Le Maschou is a fine dining restaurant located in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh that specialises in serving French and international cuisine. The restaurant is beautifully designed starting from the entry garden that is full of trees, roses and wood benches with the restaurant’s name engraved on them. As you walk your way to the restaurant, pink roses will be greeting you from both sides and a lovely purple carpet will lead you to the entrance. The interior has a very beautiful French cottage style using wood panels on the ceilings and framed pictures on the wall. 

It consists of lovely outdoor and indoor seating and it also has upper floor seatings that overlooks the garden and outdoor seatings. Their menu offers a wide selection of French delicacies and a variety of grills such as steaks, fish, chicken and more. Their starters are also great such as wagyu sliders and corn salad. They also serve amazing drinks such as mojitos, pina colada, mocktails, non alcoholic wines and hot beverages like coffee and tea. The restaurant was famously visited by Christiano Ronaldo. The restaurant is located in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh and reservation is required.

Food was amazing and fresh. My table staff was really nice and take amazing pictures for us. But when I entered inside for bathroom, one of staff in the bar kept saying nihao. And never stop saying nihao on the way to back also(he said more than 20 times), I asked the staff ‘did you say nihao to me?’. He said to me “I did, I know what it means.” Unfortunately, I felt bad of it. Cause I’m not Chinese and he didn’t ask me where I am from. I don’t know why I have to talk with this kind of racism thing in this fancy restaurant. Restaurant is beautiful and romantic. I was so satisfied for food but I might not to visit here again.

The food was great and so does the ambiance. I would like to thank the waiter Mr. Leandro from Argentina for his professional service and attitude. He made our experience extra joyful ! Strongly recommend the place for couples and light friends!

Atmosphere is the best thing about the place : an incredible winter night - full of people with talks and laughters. Service is good. Food is ok, I recommend Triamisu. The place is not welcoming (the people not) drink and desert orders - be ready for dinner. Minimum budget for the dinner is around 400 SR/ per person- the average is 600 SR/ per person (+++ expensive , but it is good for romantic dinner plans). Parking is through valet ( another hidden cost) ; parking without Valet is 50 SR - the place begins to be busy between 10 pm to 11 pm : booking is required ( one day before your target date is ok - except the Valentine’s) . Enjoy the live music performance and lovely singers.

Food wise, it wasn’t good or at least it wasn’t as you might expect it to be, and I wished they had more options in their menu, however the tiramisu yummmy and their coffee as well. Service wise, it was all perfect the waiter Leo is the best he saw me sitting alone on my birthday and he took care of me the whole time I appreciated that THANK YOU LEO ❤️ Atmosphere wise, perfect especially in this cold weather and the singer has a lovely voice she makes you enjoy your time, you can sit for hours without feeling bored

Worth the visit. Nice atmosphere, amazing services especially from server Leandro. So professional and skillful in handling our orders and communicates towards the customers. Loved every experience I had here.
