Description

Indian Palace Restaurant, as the name suggests, offers Indian culinary specialties. Fine cuisine and quality service await you even though the decoration remains rather basic. The restaurant essentially offers a family corner with a number of partitioned rooms. The singles room is quite small has a limited number of tables. However, the food will meet your expectations and you will find the main dishes of Indian cuisine rather delightful. The restaurant is located along King Abdullah Road, close to Rashid Mega Mall.

This is one of the worst restaurant ever I visited. They are making people fool in the name of indian cuisine. I went with one of my foreign national friend and it was quite embarrassing to see the food quality is being served on the table. I am indian and I know indian cuisine very well. I ordered butter chicken, garlic butter naan, daal soup and mutton biryani. Naan was just below average, daal soup was not a soup but it was simply indian daal. Daal soup has to be blended to get soup texture. Butter chicken was no where close to it's authenticity, lot of food color were used to make it look red. I had to wash my hand more than 10 times to remove red color from my fingers. Gravy was sweet, I can't even laugh. Chicken slice was used instead of chicken cooked in tandoor to add smoky flavor to the dish. Now biryani, A kid can make better biryani that this. Poor quality of basmati rice which was broken and two to three big rice lump were found in that biryani. No seasoning in biryani and overall food experience was super awful. Waiters didn't even come to ask how is the food and all as if they didn't care. When I complained about food, he took the biryani pot inside and promised to talk to chef and come back. He didn't turn up. He seemed not interested at all. While billing at the counter I saw him and asked and he replied " ok I will get some good rice for u" I said thank you very much sarcastically and walked away thinking I will never come back here ever and I will surely put this comment to let people know that they are fooling in the name of indian cuisine. Please take my comment seriously or else u will loose customers.
