Bateel’s flagship branch stands proudly on Prince Muhammad Bin Abdul Azeez Road. This place isn’t your ordinary cafe. With every dessert, every coffee, every meal, every date served here comes a story, a story that begets quality and pride.

The cafe comes with two floors, each being spacious and beautifully decorated. Pictures of Bateel date farms are seen hanging on every wall, and shelves hold magnificent artifacts such as handcrafted wooden gift boxes and other Bateel made art pieces. You will also find certain items for sale like honey made with Bateel dates and their signature non-alcoholic champagne bottles.

Only 30% of the dates picked from Bateel’s date farms actually make it to their cafes and stores; during the short harvest window, each individual date is carefully analyzed and evaluated for size, color, and texture. The rest are left for animals to feed on and to grow more trees. The precious dates that make the cut are then used as a key ingredient in almost every one of the Bateel treats.
