Atrium cafe is a lovely cafe located inside Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel. It has a beautiful interior and is a nice place for coffee and relaxation. They have hot and cold drinks. The cafe serves hot chocolate, Arabic coffee, iced lattes, mochas, and more. For dessert, they have cheesecakes, chocolate cakes, Oreo cakes, and many more desserts to eat. In addition, they have lasagna, burgers, pasta, and much more. The seating area is nice and comfy, and the place is neat and tidy with a quiet and Cosy atmosphere. The Atrium Cafe is located on the ground floor of Jabal Omar Marriott Hotel in Makkah.

One of the worst customer service experience received at this hotel. While booking I was told I would be given breakfast upgrade by the Marriott reservation due to my rewards tier with them. I spoke to the guest relations at the hotel as well not once but 4 times calling them from the US to Saudi Arabia and confirmed. Once I got to the hotel, they totally declined and pretended they never spoke to me. Mr. Mufti who was the person I spoke to said I don't remember even when I showed him the call log. Furthermore, the bathroom smelled like it had a dead animal. Had to ask house keeping several times to check on it. This hotel is no where near to a 5 Star as it claims, a 2 star probably would be a better rating. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, overall a very poor customer service experience.

Terrible terrible terrible! 1- check in at 5;00 pm???? I called to adjust this ridiculous timing for a room I am paying for FULL DAY and was told I can check in early at arrival. I arrived and the room wasn’t even ready until after 5:00 pm. What kind of hotel does that and has its guests waiting in the reception for more than 3 hours to get their room? 2- I paid extra for a room with a view, and after waiting for 3 hours to get my room….the room was without any view! 3- WiFi was not working! 4- lady at the reception said I’ll get a 50% discount for parking, but at checking out they didn’t apply the discount. 5- I requested a room with 3 beds. I found 4 beds in the room leaving no space for us to move. A real waste of money and we’ll never go there again.

Check-in at 5.00 pm on that day, but I have to wait for 45 minute until we follow up in getting the room. Service is poorly done at the reception. The room is really bad smell, it was located at level 21. Asking and insist for change to Hana (the receptionist) the next day and only getting the change at 630pm. Basically we are stayed at the worst smell room for a day. Finally they moved us to level 3. When complaint to Agoda, the hotel rep saying we are satisfied and no complaint was received. Thus, the staff is not honest. My bad for not put it in writing this report at the front desk and only mentioned verbally to the receptionist during the check-out. My take, if anything on feedback, insist to put in report or writing immediately at the counter and get your copy as your evidence.

The hotel has replied to my negative review with their standard reply asking to contact them or email them. I have provided all additional details to their email address. Yet to receive response. I am a member of Marriott Bonvoy. If this is their treatment of a loyal member, god save the others.

I booked and paid for a triple room. I was given a double room and received everything only for 2 people. After complaining a old dirty stink broken mattress and base was sent up. Ahmed at reception told us they hotel is overbooked and they can’t do anything about it. All pictures are available for proof
