Voco hotel is one of IHG group hotels and it's among the favourite hotels for me in Riyadh. I love their lobby, love the restaurant variety, the rooms are okay as I have been to better hotels at the same level, the service is also okay as I have seen better. Location is strategic as it's close by to everything downtown Riyadh.

This hotel as pretty as it is went from a 5 star to a 10 star after meeting staff members starting from the entrance, which was wheelchair compliant (both my mother and I appreciate the smoothness of entry), David (from Kenya) concierge, extend his assistance with a smile and informative banter and kind showed us to our room. We had the pleasure of meeting the FB Manager Mr. Mahmoud, who I have to say raised the benchmark of customer oriented service and hospitality, a true ambassador to his peers, team and company. Our next introduction were the restaurant team (sorry I do not remember all of their names for they all deserve a mention) Ahmed (many), Denish, Mohammed, the chef's, etc. All were great, helpful and friendly. The food delicious (do not miss the pasta and fresh pizza !, the deserts were mouth watering and we finished it all off with coffee by the pool. I came to this hotel to recover after surgery and loved the stay... Bravo I wish there were more like this team in other hotels.

I stayed here for two nights, originally intending to stay for two nights and two nights only. My stay ended on a Thursday, when finally I was told by my company I needed to be in Riyadh on Sunday morning for a meeting, so I ended up extending my stay for three more nights. This hotel is awesome. I slept so well every night. The breakfast and dinner at their restaurant is very nice. Being a IHG member and only staying at IHG hotels, this hotel recognized my loyalty and they gave me an immediate upgrade. The gym is great, the pool, the Rotunda, the silence in the hallways, the cleanliness, the service… honestly, in my opinion this is the best hotel in Riyadh. Absolutely impeccable. Thank you. If I could give this hotel ten stars, I would. Well actually I can… Here, ten stars: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Aside from not near from a shopping mall, everything else is beautiful. Amazing food quality and diversity. Comfortable bed and room. Excellent gym and spa. And very responsive/friendly staff. The time of room service is very reasonable, even at very busy weekends. Need to have a wider conference room for big conferences, the one we used was too tight for the number of attendees.

One of the best if not the best 5 stars hotel in Saudi Arabia I ever stayed at. Kind and helpful staff in general, but they need to pay more attention to the restaurant higher staff especially the manager. I tried the breakfast and the dinner at their main restaurant and the food was great and the service was splendid. The only problem was the bad behavior from the restaurant manager I think, he was a tall Egyptian guy. He walked with me to the front office to make sure I will pay the breakfast buffet fees since I forgot the wallet inthe room that time. I told him that I will pay in 5 minutes since I will go and bring the wallet directly from the room or if possible he can inform the front office about that and let them but the charges on my room. He told me this can't be done from his side and I have to pay before leaving or at least I have to walk with him the front office to discuss this with them. It was so rude and offensive in my opinion since I already gave him the room number and the full name to check and confirm. I had to let my wife and children go to the room and I stayed with the front office to end this degrading experience. Moreover, neither the front satff nor him apologized for this embarrassing situation which they made for me since many people who were at the front office that time to see and listen to the conversation. This is the first time I ever encounter such a thing in a 5 star hotel, and if I didn't know that the hotel management don't expect such a rude behaviors and since I'm sure that this is personal act from these staff, I wouldn't gave them 5 stars.
