Jan 24 Great hotel looks stunning. But rooms are very standard and not well maintained. The walk is around 10 to 12 mins walk. Breakfast is amazing. A must have. Enjoy

The hotel is very clean, rooms are very big, bathrooms are very modern. The hotel is a short walk away from the haram but can be difficult if you are older. The breakfast buffet is fresh with a lot of different options and choices. However the service by the female members of staff is not representative of the hotel, they are not polite and it feels like they have never worked in a customer facing environment before, there is no welcoming customer service from them and it feels like they are being forced to help you. It is hard to get a smile or a please or thank you, or an answer to a question you may have. This leaves a bad impression on what is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.

I stayed in the Executive Twin Suite with Haram view rooms with my family. Overall the service was good and the workers were extremely polite. The rooms' view was extremely beautiful and the food was amazing. However, the rooms were not very clean. Other than that, especially in vip dinner area, executive lounge team member Mr. Mahmoud Rahman was very polite and very helpful. He made us feel so welcomed and checked on us to make sure that we are satisfied with the service.

Had a very bad experience at this hotel. The reception always showed carelessness and were unfriendly. The security staff and their manager/supervisor (guy wearing white Saudi dress) at the main entrance/gate was rude, incompetent, unhelpful and unfriendly. We waited for 30 mins outside the hotel and shared the car details numerous times before they allowed the driver to enter the hotel. This service is poorly managed and the manager/supervisor ignored my complaint and also told the security guard to ignore my complaint. The restaurant was getting very crowded in the morning and it was not easy to find table or get the hot food. I also didn’t like the quality or taste of the hot food. The juice in the juice bar (near the staircase) was not cold and it was not of good quality. Room condition was also poor. Carpet in the hallway and room was dirty. Staff walk on the carpet with their shoes. There was issue with certain switches and it was difficult to control the lights individually. The shower was leaking. The bar fridge was broken so we could not use it. I expected much better service and quality for the price I paid.

I reserved and paid for a king executive suite. However, I received a queen bed in the suite. Would suggest to properly advertise. Furthermore, it seems that the reception staff was fresh/green and not aware of the services/products being sold by the hotel. The trainees had mentors but they seemed to be quite busy themselves. Perhaps we arrived when the hotel was not properly staffed.
