The Backyard Cafe is located on Khobar Pavilion, a very nice, neutral-themed café to have your morning breakfast, brunch, or grab a quick meal. The menu is very limited for breakfast, but the staff is very cooperative. The cafe also has both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The place is nice and cozy. Unfortunately the food was less than expected and was cold. The service was slow despite the excellent behavior of the staff. The coffee was not roasted well. The prices of the restaurant are high despite the average menu.

The design of the place was nice but that was about it. We went there for breakfast and both our orders were disastrous. The shakshouka was inedible, it was basically canned tomato paste topped with two boiled eggs. The eggs Benedict was less than average. The only thing we actually managed to consume was the orange juice. We left the place without eating our food. Would never return to this place again and definitely do not recommend it for brunch.

The view, fares & the staff were good. The coffee came late, but it was good as well. Food was nearly bad: I ordered Turkish egg (medium) & the lebneh put in directly from container on a plate in cold temperature, no flavor whatsoever & eggs were well done instead. I asked them to check my order, they exchanged the well done egg with watery/medium/ hot eggs surrounded by cold plain lebneh /:
