Khobar Corniche - Eastern Province

If you are visiting the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia, a visit to Corniche Al Khobar is highly recommended. This seafront promenade stretches up to the city of Dammam and has all kinds of activities and facilities lined up for the visitors. 

Landscape

There is plenty of greenery along the coast so visitors can sit there and enjoy the spectacular sea views. There is a three-story Khobar water tower on the island near the coast and is visible from the seafront. 

Refreshments 

There are multiple coffee shops and restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating as well as shopping centers. The entire corniche has multiple restaurants that offer local food as well as a number of diverse cuisines from all over the world. The Khobar tower also has a restaurant at the top from where diners can enjoy the view of the sea and city as they eat their food.

Entertainment 

There are lots of playgrounds with seating areas, so parents can relax while children have their fun. There are multiple toilets and mosques near the playgrounds. Bikes are available to rent and the area is spacious enough for children to ride their bicycles while adults go jogging. The Scitech Technology Center is located on the waterfront where children can learn about science. The museum also has other extensive exhibits that children will find entertaining as well as informative.

A good way to enjoy the corniche would be to pack up a picnic and visit with your family. People can plan a trip early in the morning and watch the sunrise from the Arabian Gulf. It is the perfect quick getaway for couples as well because of the peaceful environment and fresh air.
