This place could be very good with better management and more considerate, aware and courteous waiters. The overall rustic decor is nice and the seating arrangement is alright. Seats could be better. This is not the place for an elongated lunch or dinner.
For the restaurant’s benefit, here’s my concern with the service:
We walked in a good 20 minutes before iftar time in Ramadan. At least 30 minutes passed without any waiter offering to take our order. I had to chase them to get a dates and water to break our fast. I also complained about high and cold airflow where I was seated. It was also noisy. The waiter acknowledged the problem with the AC at this location but said he couldn’t do anything about it as they were waiting for the AC to be repaired. Note that when I walked in there were plenty of vacant tables. He could have simply warned me about the AC or recommended a different location. Also, you could hardly understand the waiter, who spoke very fast in an extremely low voice.
The food variety was good and it tasted generally OK. The Pizza, coffee and desert were good. Prices on the high end. This place has the potential to be a lot more attractive in terms of service and experience. I would not visit again anytime soon. I’d rather give this place a year or so before trying it again just to give the owners sometime to inject better waiters into the service team.
