Mandi World is famous because they make Mandi in its traditional way. The main technique which differentiates “World mandi” from other restaurants is that the meat is cooked fresh three times a day to maintain the taste in the tandoor (taboon in Arabic), which is a special, traditional and original way. A special kind of oven which is usually a pit dug in the ground and covered with clay all around its sides. It is a traditional modern restaurant that offers an excellent taste and service. It is the best traditional rice restaurant in Jeddah. 

They have a splendid place. They offer a traditional seating area also named Khayma (Tent). In addition, they have space for parties and families that want privacy. The restaurant consists of three floors and a roof. The ground floor is for Take-away orders and the first floor is for families and the second floor is for singles, the roof is for the parties/big families.

It is a traditional Middle Eastern fare restaurant and. The Mandi was very decadent, and loaded with choice cuts of meat and sprinkled with onions and raisins. The meat was slightly dark and the outside had been roasted to a darker tinge. There was nothing exceptional about the rice and to be real honest, the meat was quite bland too. The outer portion of the meat has some real flavour and the fat from the meat too was a great add on with the rice. Lamb mandi and kunafa are the best.

The restaurant consists of lounge seating with some of the most unique traditional decor pieces and ambiance. It also consists of an open counter for take away. The staff here is really nice and helpful. Mr. Ahmed Al-ghamdi (manager) was really nice and helpful and was professional in communicating and coordinating with the customers. This restaurant is highly recommended for the traditional and original taste of mandi. This beautiful and attractive restaurant is located on Hamad Al Jaser road, district- Ar Rawdah, Jeddah.
