Description

Altopiano is a fine-dining restaurant that specialises in serving Italian cuisine fused with Saudi ingredients wherever possible, yet preserving the authentic Italian taste. The restaurant is located in the Bujairi Terrace in historical Diriyah which makes it the perfect place to reflect this infusion between the two cultures. It has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with rustic interior design, dim lights, patio heaters which create a warm and cosy ambience. Altopiano has a degustation menu that focuses on the senses and the Italian culinary art, and they take their guests’ feedback into consideration in creating their menu. 


They welcome you with the well-known Italian Bellini cocktail drink which is a symbol of pride in Italy. For starters, you can enjoy the delicate taste of Carpaccio, Burrata, Arancini, and the Insalata Altopiano salad with dates. For the main course, they offer delicious Risotto Bosco, Branzino sea bass, and Bistecca steak. As for desserts, you can enjoy the cloudy dreamy taste of their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. They are renewing their menu every time so don’t be surprised if you find new items. 


The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the general manager himself, Mr. Stefano, is known to greet guests personally to explain the concept of their menu and the story behind this lovely restaurant. Altopiano is one of The best Italian restaurants in Riyadh. It’s a great place to have an unforgettable Italian dining experience with your family.

Truly amazing restaurant! It is not easy to find Italy abroad but we have found it! This restaurant, despite still in its first month of life, is already a guarantee of quality and true hospitality. The menu they offered us in their "soft opening" is a selection of nine courses, all beautifully presented, tasty and genuine. The guys in the dining room are professional and have that spirit of true hospitality that comes from the heart: it seemed to me like a real Italian embassy in Riyadh! Congrats guys, you're great!

This is by far the best fine dining Italian restaurant in Riyadh. Beautiful staff, beautiful manager (Mr.Stefano ?) ,beautiful atmosphere. Food is Amazing drinks are also amazing. Its just a Beautiful place to spend the evening , and creat happy memories. I really love this place all in all . Thank you to the staff and management for the great experience and treatment.
