Description

Altopiano is a fine-dining restaurant that specialises in serving Italian cuisine fused with Saudi ingredients wherever possible, yet preserving the authentic Italian taste. The restaurant is located in the Bujairi Terrace in historical Diriyah which makes it the perfect place to reflect this infusion between the two cultures. It has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with rustic interior design, dim lights, patio heaters which create a warm and cosy ambience. Altopiano has a degustation menu that focuses on the senses and the Italian culinary art, and they take their guests’ feedback into consideration in creating their menu. 


They welcome you with the well-known Italian Bellini cocktail drink which is a symbol of pride in Italy. For starters, you can enjoy the delicate taste of Carpaccio, Burrata, Arancini, and the Insalata Altopiano salad with dates. For the main course, they offer delicious Risotto Bosco, Branzino sea bass, and Bistecca steak. As for desserts, you can enjoy the cloudy dreamy taste of their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. They are renewing their menu every time so don’t be surprised if you find new items. 


The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the general manager himself, Mr. Stefano, is known to greet guests personally to explain the concept of their menu and the story behind this lovely restaurant. Altopiano is one of The best Italian restaurants in Riyadh. It’s a great place to have an unforgettable Italian dining experience with your family.

The Vibes here are completely beautiful and the beauty of the place is on the next level. The Parking here costs about 30R /hr and the place has a beautiful entrance and the lightings here are sights to see also to mention the restaurants and the staff has different levels of elegance, the aesthetics here are the most awesome. ? Worth visiting the place if you're in Riyadh.

Fantastic place of old mud city with many informative exhibitions. Better to visit in the evening to see all wonderful illuminations. Very posh place, with expensive restaurants. You should get your entrance tickets online. Can also be bought online at the entry if you have the Internet connection.

I've seen a few bad reviews but they don't reflect in any way, the quality of food, staff and the environment. Great food, relaxing environment, staff is accommodating and always ready to assist. Special mention to the Manager, Stefano, who goes far and beyond to ensure your dining experience is at its best. We'll definitely return!
