One of the worst Marriotts I’ve stayed in the world. The size of the rooms are comparable to rooms in Tokyo and cost nearly the same. The window is pathetically small and overlooking the Aircon condensers garden, so it honestly the room makes me feel like I’m in a Jail Cell. Service sub par. We went into a lift that the button level 3 wasn’t working and we spent a good time thinking it was our card that couldn’t scan, to add I came back and my card wasn’t working and they said their system wasn’t working so they couldn’t program a card for me. Couldn’t the hotel just shut down the faulty elevator instead of getting your guest to waste time trying? Or stick SOMETHING in the lift or the button that ITS NOT WORKING? But what made me fuming mad and the reason for this review is because when I went out to sight see, I asked a guy at the reception for help on setting my ride app destination address to the UNESCO heritage site of At-Turaif (I even preselected this in Careem) I passed my phone to the guy and he keyed in the “Diriyah” and picked some spot. I got sent by the driver to some place out in the BOONDOCKS. For someone who works at an international chain hotel and there are ONLY a handful of tourist spots in Riyadh how could you get it wrong?!? Thank god I had a nice driver to send (6km away) to the correct place in the end and FYI it’s “Bujairi Terrace” still angry about it The location of the hotel isn’t the best. There is nothing around it. Not a mall or a mart. Also the member’s lounge is under renovation so the lobby lounge I guess is a makeshift one. Probably because the room feel like jail cells, us members don’t really want to stay in the room at all. So we go down to the lounge to work but there is only one long normal sit down table that has sockets to plug in and it’s uncomfortable as hell. The table height to chair height is super uncomfortable. Please just go ikea and get some proper height chairs. It really doesn’t cost that much.

Entered the hotel, was planning to have a small cake. No attention from the team. Was waiting with my business partner 15minutes, after we decided to move to JW Burj Rafael. Seems they were too busy. The smell was very strong in lobby, I guess from the flower. Another reason, we decided to move on. Sorry.

Very old hotel. Needs renovation. Service is horrible, from the top management to the bottom. Very rude, but if you don’t communicate with them too much and you don’t encounter any problems, it’s fine. Location is nice, the only reason why I sometimes stay here.

Rooms are clean but need refurbishment, hotel is overall very clean and well maintained, but it's getting old and rundown. Elevators are efficient but they look and feel prehistoric. Executive lounge evening dinner is one of the best in gcc area, only thing is missing is sparkling water, they put 6 small bottles per day, which is nothing for +30-40 person. Breakfast is okay for the price you pay, nothing extraordinary but still it's a proper Bf. Location is good, smooth access to most areas of riyadh.

I had a fantastic stay at Riyadh Marriott Hotel. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to attractions and business areas. I highly recommend Riyadh Marriott Hotel for a memorable and enjoyable experience in Riyadh.

They have 2 swimming pools one in the hotel building which is for men only and the other in the apartments building which is shared and women have special times they can use it. However, when we were in the pool during women-only time, two men came in, saw us and went to the gym that overlooks the pool. We were so shocked as they were not supposed to be there. We couldn’t move or do anything because they would see us. Luckily, I had my phone with me so I called the hotel and asked them to bring someone to get them out. The funny thing is that they sent a lady and another man! He went to the gym and got those men out.
