This is definitely not a Le Meridan property. It’s rated as 1 star (see photo) although I paid for a 5 star facility. It’s a very old building with broken facade and parking lot in shambles. Having said that rooms are kept decent although you can easily figure out it’s very old. It’s very far from Haram. The buffet is over priced with limited spread. The reception team seems to be overworked and they are not very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I won’t stay her anymore, for the money they are asking you will get a better deal with other operators nearer to the Haram.

I was trying to call them for one hour and nobody answered the phone! This is so bad for a famous hotel!!! If no one going to answer just remove your phone number from google!

2nd stay here. I have seen some improvements. Breakfast was amazing 5 stars. They are really aware of food safety. Staffs are well trained. Best service . Rooms are spacious though furnishing looks outdated but nevertheless the housekeeping is excellent. Always come back to a clean room. Not near masjid haram but they have prompt shuttle service. You can book uber or careem to other place of interests at a reasonable price. For those who want the hype and busy atmosphere of the haram this is not a place for you. Overall am happy with the stay.

Rooms are neat and clean yes old furniture but still very manageable, tidy, and enjoyable. Service is also good, bus service to Masjid Nabavi could be better with multiple shuttles , more frequent then only for prayers , they can get one or two additional small vans beside one big van in case of overflow and higher passenger volume. Great helpful and caring staff at front desk , breakfast restaurant and door man. Very please with their support and smile and understanding. Very accommodative. Hotel is a bit far for Haram but it took us 15 mins to come back from Fajr prayers . It may take more time during the day as we do had to go thru intercity lights and traffic but they dropped us at a nice convenient location in haram . Uber cost us 30 SAR to haram from hotel. Breakfast is amazing , see the videos attached for the entire menu. Overall good experience.

The old Sheraton hotel was rebranded to Le Meridien. It's located outside the haram zone as it was originally for foreigners. The hotel is next to Sultanah Street with many cool shopping & restaurants. It's also across the street from the convention center in a lush green palm area. Hotel shuttle buses to Haram needs to be expanded as often people are left stranded. Car rides are only 10-15 min away but are not easily accessible from the hotel grounds, best hauled from the main street which is 5 min walk from entrance. Rooms are pretty spacious compared to haram adjacent hotels
