Visited recently for a week on a work trip from Ireland. From the moment I walked in the door it was clear to me that this would be a five star experience. Greeted with a friendly smile and the offer of an Arabic coffee, check in was seamless and the porters could not have offered greater assistance with bringing my baggage to the room. The facilities in both the room and the hotel itself are perfect. The room with a luxurious bed, spa bath and views over the Riyadh skyline will leave an imprint on me forever. The hotel boasts a state of the art gym complete with an infinity pool with views over the before mentioned skyline. However, it is the staff in the hotel which set it apart from others anywhere in the world. Helpful with advice and suggestions about Riyadh, I have never experience such sincerity in any hotel I stayed in topped off by a gift of a ghutra from Whaleed in reception. The breakfast in the Jareed has a varied continental style buffet with a made to order main meal. I mixed it up between the eggs and pancakes and both were excellent. Travelling for work can be isolating sometimes, the friendly approach from Shahnawaz and his team was the best possible start to the day, nothing was too much to ask. I came to Riyadh for work and I will return to Riyadh and the Jareed as a tourist.
