My recent day use experience at this resort was far from enjoyable, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I had expected a relaxing day in a beautiful setting, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. First and foremost, the reciption reception when I have asked him , if they have shampoos in the shower he confirmed that and unfortunately there were no shampoos or water in the showers and the showers were so dirty. Once inside the resort, I was disappointed to find that the facilities were overcrowded. It was nearly impossible to find a comfortable spot by the pool or on the beach, as every available lounger and chair seemed to be taken. It was clear that the resort had oversold their day use passes, leading to an uncomfortable and crowded environment. The service was also lacking. It took an incredibly long time to get the attention of a staff member to place an order for food and drinks. When the order finally arrived, it was cold, and some items were missing. It was frustrating to pay premium prices for such a subpar experience. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the resort left much to be desired. The restrooms were dirty and poorly maintained, and I couldn't help but notice litter around the pool area. It felt like the staff was struggling to keep up with the mess caused by the large number of guests. and the resturant manager told me the soda drinks are not included in the open buffet and the receptionist did not tell me that and they have charged me 35$ per person. they asked for 4$ for soda can. and the resturant manager was so rude in his way to deal with the resort customers. The worst part of the day was the lack of respect to the tourist (females) I was with a tourist females and the resort employees were commenting on her and stairing at her, so I won't recommend any female to use this resort either you are tourist or local there is a lack of ethics. I have staired at the employees so they will know I am mad and to let them know stop commenting because I am local and I do understand what they are saying. In conclusion, my day use experience at this resort was a major disappointment. I had expected a serene and enjoyable day, but it was marred by overcrowding, poor service, and a lack of attention to detail. I hope that the resort can improve its day use operations in the future to provide a more pleasant experience for its guests.

I hope the following photos will be eloquent enough to advise AGAINST staying in this hotel. Despite being with an organised tour, I decided NOT to sleep here. The photos I post were shown to the manager on duty who did not react. I did not eat, so no comments on this aspect. To conclude I would like to add that the access to the sea is not direct (but there is the possibility to use a golf cart), the sunbeds are not sufficient and they are very dirty. The grand east hotel is very very far from being a 4 star hotel!

I have never went to a hotel and was treated this horribly. My friend and I came to Grand East Dead Sea for getaway calm stay. Our bad experience began when we arrived at the reception to receive the rooms, to be surprised by the employee asking for an additional amount that was not included in the account, "noting that our reservation was online - via Agoda -" and when asked about that, he said that it is refundable deposits after 14 days, although we were not asked upon booking to pay any additional amounts As insurance! We refused to pay the refunded deposit because we do not have cash, but the employee delayed us on the pretext that we could only pay the amount in cash. After long time they handed us the room, and it was never cleaned, and the pictures below show that. This is a room that is not and will not be appropriate to book inside a 5-star resort. There is no ashtray, although this was confirmed by reservation. There is no cup for use. The bathrooms are not clean and the sewage system does not absorb water, which made the bathroom floor full of water. The phones in the room do not work, and you can only reach customer service by going down to them and asking for them to be fixed since we arrived and the reservation ended and they did not Someone come to help! The final finishing of the room is completely inappropriate, from electric sockets and switches to lighting sockets to room facilities. Here’s the thing no empolyee has the right to tell a customer that they should have thought of what they ordered prior to ordering it and on top of it say it be super rude about it and completely ruin their stay.. and when we asked her the manager, she told us he was standing right next to her! Which looked like another receptionist !! (Literally he was dressed in receptionist clothes) When a client of a respectful 5 star hotel asks for a manger the manager should come and have rather than having a colleague play pretend. The worst experience and the worst stay I had ever went through. Hats off to you Grand East you ruined my stay!

While I appreciated the convenient location and the overall service provided by your staff, I must express my disappointment regarding the cleanliness and hygiene conditions during my stay. Unfortunately, I noticed several areas that were lacking proper maintenance and attention to cleanliness. Specifically, the bathrooms, bedding, and the dinning area. These issues significantly impacted my comfort and overall experience during my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel lacks credibility, as on the first day of booking, a cash deposit of $70 is collected with a promise to return the amount to you within two weeks. Unfortunately, I did not receive my deposit, which was supposed to be received two weeks ago. I would not recommend this hotel, very weak
