The world's nicest Hyatt House? At first glance this hotel can be confusing. A beautiful historic building, luxurious, classic, and posh lobby, then the rooms are like modern apartments. Very few design elements from the historic building and classically beautiful lobby are represented in the room. The room is a nice one though. Modern, ultra clean, and large. It features a ready to cook in kitchen, sitting area, king bed, large bathroom, and a full laundry room! The laundry room was almost the size of the bathroom and features a combo washer/dryer plus cabinets. The room was quiet and comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. The 2 TV's were modern and easy to connect smart devices to. You could happily stay here for months. Breakfast was a real highlight. Nice selection and quality of food, but the service was outstanding and very memorable. Some of the best restaurant service we have had in Europe. A notable plus was live music and singers in the lobby. They were not "lounge" singers, but highly skilled performers that really added to the ambiance. Overall if you can overcome the contradictory style.of the common areas vs the rooms, this is a superb option.

One of my favorite hotel experiences: 1. Quite large and well-equipped rooms (with full kitchen and washing machine) 2. Wonderful beds 3. Great architecture, decoration and location 4. Extremely thoughtful service Some points of improvements desired: - The hotel is not at all accessible (many stairs and heavy doors) - The elevators are the slowest I've ever seen - Breakfast is somewhat underwhelming - Desk in the room are not great to use for work All in all, the points of improvements do not reduce the wonderful experience I've had here.

This is probably the best hotel for business traveller, the room is quiet (facing to garden ward), equipped with a kitchen and a laundry machine. It is also very well located, just few steps from shops or restaurants. Very helpful staffs and wonderful breakfasts. I didn't like the gym so much, but this hotel is only few yards away from Rhine, jogging along the river is just fantastic.

The room was comfortable, large and quiet. Reception were professional and friendly. The bar staff were very attentive and keen for us to eat in the expensive Italian restaurant downstairs, which we did. We were the only customers when we sat down circa 9pm and our main course included chicken that was, in places, still raw. I had breakfast elsewhere.

Getting bags to and from lobby is a hassle but other than that, amazing hotel with modern rooms in heart of Düsseldorf
