Located in Saudia Arabia’s biggest metropolis and capital city Riyadh, the Sky Bridge at Kingdom Tower is the sixth tallest skyscraper in Saudi Arabia. Completed in 2002, this 99-storey building rises 302.3 meters in the sky and overtook Faisaliyah Tower as the tallest tower in Saudi Arabia, however, it has since been surpassed by five other buildings but remains the most iconic building in the Riyadh skyline.
Food and Shopping
There is a basement-level food court where you can find many of local and international food options including KFC, Burger King, Popeyes, Mcdonalds, and Baskin Robbins. Al-Mamlaka shopping mall covers 57,000-square-meters of space and some of the world’s most exclusive shopping brands including Chanel, Gucci, Versace, and Louis Vuitton.
Attractions
The entire tower takes up 100,000–square meters and provides tons of entertainment, food, and shopping options. It also houses the Al-Mamlaka shopping mall and the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.
A high-speed elevator takes you to the top of the building from where the floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the city skyline and make for a particularly enchanting sight during the evening. On its 77th floor is the King Abdullah Mosque, which is famous for being the highest mosque in the entire world.
The top of the tower is an inverted parabolic arch with a 65-meter sky bridge at the top that gives the tower a unique look and makes for an incredible sight. The tower is a popular spot, not only among locals but also tourists that come to Riyadh from all over the world. This makes it incredibly busy on the weekends, which is why a weekday visit is recommended. It can also be booked for private dining experiences.
