Description

The Hub is a great two-floored cafe on Prince Sultan Road, Al Khobar. The interior is styled simply yet has artistic touches that can be noticed in the hand-painted art on the paper cups. They also have beautiful asymmetrical mirrors and woodwork on the walls. The menu ranges from very tasty sandwiches, made-to-perfection coffee and drinks, and desserts.

The staff is professional and friendly. It is a nice place to visit for a quick bite with friends and family.

First time trying The Hub, it left a mixed impression. The place is nice, sleek and clean but not outstanding or overly impressive. They have the usual selection of drinks you might expect from any specialty coffee shop. The prices are reasonable compared to other places in Khobar. Now to the important bit, the coffee. I tried the cortado and it was good, but their Spanish latte tasted liked sweetened milk.

Tried their churros which they specialize in, it was perfect. The zaatar and nutella donuts has a new different taste and i liked it. The passion fruit blend is my favorite!! Also, i loved the flat white & the iced V60 coffee (thumps up for the large square ice cubes). The new churros ice cream is very unique, it has a layer of churros topped with soft cinnamon ice cream, Nutella & cereal! The cinnamon taste in the ice cream is not too strong which i really liked. Very delicious!!
