Description

Mado Restaurant is famous for Turkish food and desserts. The restaurant is well-known, its location in Souk Al Khalil in Jabal Omar adjacent to Hyatt Regency. The food is authentic and delicious. They serve (cold appetizers, sandwiches and toast, salads, Turkish breakfast, burgers, pizza)etc. They have desserts like milky dessert, kunafa, mixed dessert platter, ice creams and many desserts to eat. The method of presentation is very distinctive.  The decor is beautiful and elegant. The atmosphere is cosy and calm. The sitting area is comfortable and nice. 

Mado is located close to Al Masjid Al Haram in Jabal Omar in the same complex as Hyatt Regency and Hilton Suites on the ground floor.

Sehr teuer

Ich habe inder Türkei gerne bei Modo gegessen. Deswegen wolte ich in Mekka auch bei Maddo Essen. Wo ich und auch paar Leute preise geschaut haben sofort wo Anders gegangen. Wie kann mann so preise hoch halten. Das ist wirklich Haram. Mit diesem Preise wo anders kann mann besser Essen.

Overall the food tasted nice and the price was decent I guess . But the kunafa it’s extremely overpriced. I recommend who ever would like to order the kunfaa must ask for the price and the size first. not worth it .

Horrible service!!

The amount of discrimination they had against us is ridiculous we came in paid for our food which was not appetising and then we left while some waitress laughed at us while leaving. Horrible never coming to this overpriced restaurant ever again.

Awful.

We got in, waiters were pretty rude and disrespectful. We then order a lot of food (we’re family of 6) the food was fine nothing too special after we pay (total was about 1000 riyal) then we start leaving when all of a sudden this waiter ( monira/منيرا ) starts laughing at us disrespectfully we then leave really frustrated and we were left feeling disrespected and dissatisfied with the overall service, situation, and food.

WARNING MEGA EXPENSIVE WITH PRICELESS MENUE

May 2022 Very deceptive, nicely positioned inside a shopping arcade short walk from Mecca Haram. The digital menu presented on tablet in a form of pictures with no prices. The shocking find was when we came to pay It was very expensive as for 2 sharing 1 starter, 1 main and 1 desert with 1 Turkish tea & 1 Turkish coffee we paid 376 SAR Which is almost double per person to what we pay for buffet dinner at the nearby Hilton 5* hotel where we were staying.
