Description

Abu Osaid is a traditional Arab food restaurant located in Jeddah. They offer Saudi street food with a contemporary twist. Inspired by the banana carts found in downtown Jeddah, the eatery's name refers to a traditional dish made of mashed banana and chopped saj pie, topped with honey or cream and usually eaten as a dessert. Abu Osaid's signature masoub dish is served with a variety of toppings and extra banana, mango, strawberry, avocado, and nuts. The outlet also offers a range of authentic Saudi recipes with international and Middle Eastern touches, including masoub konafa, foul baba, mutabbaq trio pepperoni, and liver tacos.

The food is served in Korean stone and pottery bowls and on plates with dried ice fog adding to the presentation. This restaurant serves delicious dishes like Masoub, which consists of a mix of bread and banana, Mutabag tuna, Mutabag vegetable, Mutabag beef, fol , gulaba, and more. The seating area is nice and spacious, and the restaurant is clean and tidy. The decor is nice and elegant. Abu Osaid Restaurant is located at the intersection of Prince sultan road and Sari road, district Al Salamah, Jeddah.

Very nice breakfast spot for traditional dishes. It gets crowded specially during weekends so its better to check if you intend to eat inside.

Great taste. Good service. Very friendly staff. Nice location. Good decoration. Prices are above average. Worth to try. Hoping Insh'Allah this level remains same or even better.
