The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has initiated the registration process for domestic pilgrims for the 2024 Hajj Season.

Four packages will be offered, ranging from 4,099 SAR for basic packages to 13,265 SAR for five-star packages. 

These options are designed to serve various budgets and include features such as hospitality camps in Mina and accommodations near the Jamarat Bridge.

Interested individuals can register via the ministry's website or the Nusuk app on their smartphones or tablets.

Registration and Payment Procedure

The ministry has facilitated a user-friendly registration process for prospective pilgrims. Pilgrims can begin registration at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th. The ministry's website and the Nusuk application on smartphones and tablets can be used for this purpose.

The ministry has also provided flexibility in terms of payment. Registrants can either pay the total amount upon registration or opt for partial payment according to the terms and conditions stated. 

The ministry has emphasized the importance of ensuring information accuracy during registration and urged pilgrims to use a different mobile number for multiple applications.

The ministry has introduced a total of four Hajj packages designed to cater to diverse budgets and preferences. The pilgrims can review and select from these packages according to their needs. 

The packages range in price from SAR 4,099 ($1093) to SAR 13,265 ($3537), inclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT). Here's an in-depth look at what each package offers:

  • First Package: Priced at SAR 10,366.10, this package offers pilgrims accommodations in camps designed to provide high-quality service and comfortable hospitality.
  • Second Package: The second package, costing SAR 8,092.55, provides accommodations in hospitality camps located in Mina.
  • Third Package: Those who opt for the third package, which costs SAR 13,265.25, will receive accommodations in one of the six towers in Mina. These towers are distinguished by their proximity to the Jamarat Bridge.
  • Fourth Package: The fourth package, the most economical of all, is priced at SAR 4,099.75. It provides pilgrims with services within the economic scope.

Lilium Flying Taxis

Saudia Airlines plans to revolutionize Hajj travel by implementing Flying Taxis to transport pilgrims from Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport to their Makkah hotels during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. 

The airline has invested substantially in acquiring 100 Lilium aircraft from a German-based company that produces electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

The Skybridge Musallah at The Address Hotel Makkah

The Jabal Omar Devlopment Company in Makkah has revealed Sky Musallah, the world’s highest prayer room, at the 5-Star Address Hotel, located within a skybridge at a staggering 483 meters above sea level. 

It offers stunning panoramic views of Al Masjid Al Haram, The Holy Kaaba, and Makkah City, earning it a Guinness World Record.

The skybridge connects the 36th and 38th floors of the two twin towers at The Address Jabal Omar Hotel and has a capacity of 520 people.
